Rank Your Friends, officially

How to Play

One secret prompt, one suspicious ranking, and a room full of people demanding an explanation.

Before the judgement

  • One player hosts a room and shares its six-character code.
  • Everyone joins with a nickname; an account is optional.
  • Vote for prompt categories, mark yourselves ready, and let the host begin.

Each round

  • A round leader privately receives a secret prompt.
  • The leader ranks the other players according to that prompt.
  • Everyone sees the ranking—but not the prompt—and asks yes-or-no questions.
  • Once the group is ready, reveal the prompt and finish the round.

The civilised bit

Rank people, not their worth. Read the room, skip anything that lands badly, and remember that a funny answer is never worth making someone genuinely uncomfortable. The host can leave sensitive categories out; players may leave at any time.
