No advertising crumbs. Only the browser storage needed to remember who you are and which language you prefer.
What the app currently stores
- Supabase authentication session (local storage, usually named sb-<project>-auth-token): keeps an anonymous player attached to the correct room and keeps registered accounts signed in. It expires or is replaced as authentication sessions are refreshed.
- rank-your-friends-locale (local storage): remembers your language choice until you change it or clear browser data.
What we do not use
The application does not currently set advertising, behavioural-tracking, or social-media cookies, and it has no non-essential cookie categories to toggle. Vercel and Supabase may process short-lived technical identifiers or request logs needed for security and delivery, but we do not use them to build advertising profiles.
Keeping it minimal
We deliberately minimize browser storage and retained data. You can remove the stored values through your browser settings; doing so signs you out, forgets your language, and may prevent an active game from recognising you as the same player. If optional analytics or marketing storage is introduced later, this page and an appropriate consent control will be updated first.
